The Macroecology
Research Group at Peking University, China led by Dr. Zhiheng Wang opens 1-2
postdoc positions in the fields of 1) macroecology and macroevolutionary mechanisms
of plant diversity patterns; 2) impacts of global changes on plant diversity;
3) functional biogeography of plants in eastern Asia. The successful candidates
are encouraged to develop independent projects on any topic of mutual interests
under these themes, using methods of field survey, geographical ecology,
bioinformatics and comparative phylogenetics. The research group will provide available
data, training and funding support.
The positions
will be supported by "Bo-Ya Fellow for Postdoc" or general postdoc
fellow of Peking University. Bo-Ya Fellow for Postdoc is a new program
announced by Peking University, and aims to attract excellent early-career
scientists from the world. The program provides attractive salary (~250,000
Chinese Yuan per year) with additional medical insurance, pension and education
benefits for children (entrance to the top kindergarten and primary school). The
general postdoc fellow of Peking University provides a salary of ~160,000
Chinese Yuan per year with additional medical insurance, pension and education
benefits for children (entrance to the top kindergarten and primary school). On
top of these benefits, the research group will 1) provide additional financial support
for conference travels, fieldwork and research; 2) and provide support for applying
NSFC grants and other available external findings.
The
initial appointment for both positions will be for two years, with the
possibility of extension for another two years contingent on performance and

The research focus of
the Macroecology Research Group at Peking University is to understand the mechanisms
underlying large-scale patterns of species diversity and the responses of
species to past and future climatic changes, and to develop conservation
framework under future climate changes. Our research integrates geographical
ecology, bioinformatics, comparative phylogenetics, field survey, ecological

北京大学城市与环境学院王志恒研究组主要从事宏观生态学(macroecology)和生物多样性研究。王志恒研究员2013年入选中组部“青年千人计划”，2014年获教育部自然科学二等奖(排名第二)，2015年获国家基金委“优青”资助；在PNAS、英国皇家学会会志等杂志发表SCI论文40余篇；担任Ecography、Journal of Plant Ecology等多个杂志编委。现因课题组发展需要，拟招聘博士后1-2名。受聘者将在课题组长的指导下完成课题组承担的科研任务。
一、研究方向（包括但不限于）
1、物种多样性格局的生态与进化机制；2、气候变化对物种分布和多样性的影响；3、植物功能属性及其对物种共存的影响。
二、应聘条件
1、在群落生态学、生物信息学或系统进化领域具有相关研究工作经验者，或具有R语言编程经验者优先。
2、具有良好英语交流能力。
3、具有博士学位，发表SCI论文1篇以上。
4、具有良好的团队合作精神，身体健康，符合北京大学有关博士后管理的规定。
三、待遇
1、按政策享受北京大学博士后研究人员户档迁转和子女入托入学等福利。
2、税前年收入 (年薪和补贴) 约16万元，并有相关保险、公费医疗和绩效奖励；特别优秀者推荐申请北京大学博雅博士后（税前年收入约25万元）。
3、每年至少一次出国交流和参加高水平国际会议的机会。
4、科研项目申请、论文发表等训练，现有博士后都成功申请基金委青年基金。
5、资助期两年，如果工作需要可以再延长两年。
